Area Specialists" in the real estate market refer to professionals who have extensive knowledge and expertise in a specific geographical area." I was born in Castro Valley. I grew up in Hayward graduating from Hayward High and Cal State Hayward with a degree in Kinesiology. Still can’t call it Cal State East Bay.

I was a swimmer in high school and college that took me to most Bay Area High Schools, especially the ones in the East Bay. I spent 11 summers of my youth teaching swimming lessons and lifeguarding in San Leandro at Farrlley Pool, John Muir Jr. High and San Leandro High and culminating that time as the Coach of the San Leandro Swim Team, otherwise known as the Drowning Darryl’s, part of the East Bay Swim League.

I was fortunate enough to have grandparents who lived in Lake Tahoe, Kings Beach to be specific where I became a pretty good skier. This time gave me great insight to the Tahoe area if you have real estate needs that take you there.

In my previous career as part of the insurance world, I worked in offices in Pleasanton and Alamo.  This career took me to businesses and neighborhoods throughout the Bay Area.

And finally, what qualifies me as an Area Specialists, I’ve been a homeowner in the Lake Shore Area of Oakland for over 25 years.

As a Bay Area native and an Oakland homeowner, I’ve seen home prices rise and escalate in value, interest rates go up and interest rates go down, people come, and people go. One thing has remained constant, people are always ready to buy and people are ready to sell.

So if your time is now to buy or sell your home, I invite you to begin the process with me, an Area Specialists in the Real Estate market.
